Letter to the Editor 2-16-2022

I watched a video whereby Father Nolan said that “Those ignorant of history are doomed to repeat it”.  This led into the subject of unethical medical experimentation on American citizens by our US government agencies.

To be labeled unethical these medical experiments were performed without the knowledge, consent or informed consent of the test subjects.  According to Wikipedia, “The experiments included the exposure of humans to many chemical and biological weapons (including infections with deadly or debilitating diseases), human radiation experiments, injections of toxic and radioactive chemicals, surgical experiments, interrogation and torture experiments, tests which involved mind-altering substances, and a wide variety of other experiments. Many of these tests were performed on children, the sick, and mentally disabled individuals, often under the guise of “medical treatment. In many of the studies, a large portion of the subjects were poor, racial minorities, or prisoners.”  These experiments violated US law.

Wikipedia has a long list of these experiments: Tuskege Syphilis experiment, 1946 Guatemala study, Vanderbilt University radioactive study on pregnant women, Operation Plumbbob (radiation), Manhattan Project, AEC radioactive studies, the Stateville Penitentiary Malaria study, etc.  These uninformed test subjects were soldiers, mental patients, prisoners, poor individuals, women and children.   Back then, the public was instructed to “trust the experts” and to “trust the science.”

One of the most alarming experiments was the CIA Bluebird Project that experimented on military personal without their consent.  The goal of this project was to reduce the test subject to a vulnerable state in order to achieve complete psychological manipulation.  Another one was the MK Ultra Project which was conducted at 80 centers from 1953 to 1973.  The goal was to erase the individuals mind and rebuild their personality.

From what has happened in the past, can we really trust what the government and experts are telling us?  For a more in-depth article, find me on Telegram or FB.
