This letter is to thank the Colfax Town Board for passing Resolution No 01-21 in support of our constitutional 2nd amendment rights.

The process was well handled with time given for the public to express opinions and an advisory vote taken before the Resolution was approved.

Taking a stand for liberty is never silly. But Mr. Boland’s petty slight against the Board in last week’s paper certainly was. He participated in the process, but it did not go as he hoped. In his attempt to demean the Board, he only succeeded in demeaning himself.
