Letter to the Editor:
I am writing in response to letter from Janet Scepurek in April 7th edition. I’m wondering if she realizes that Google search articles doesn’t mean they are truthful. I would (and I’ll bet many would agree) RATHER read your small column as YOU and JoAnn U.’s letters have more truth than 100 Google hit peices. Many of them have 1/2 truths with very Slanted views. “Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth.” If Janet would/could read a book from an actual Journalist, “SLANTED” by Sharyl Attkisson, she’d learn the truth. One would also suggest she stay away from CNN/MSNBC (should be BS), etc. etc. Now you said to stick with the facts….by ICE’s own Deportation numbers there were 5,735 deported in Dec. 2020 (Trump) but Feb. ‘21 has only 2,590 deported (Biden). So how is that 99% deported?? FACTS do matter! Perhaps you should contact a conservative who can give you some websites to check out the numbers. Doesn’t it bother you that $86 million given to house/transport, etc. ILLEGALS? (Are you concerned with our homeless, esp. the Vets?) Independent journalists/reporters showing videos of 2 illegals going from van to NICE hotel for a week as they tested positive. So NO ONE else in that van of 15-20 would test positive in a few days? the logic is illogical!! YES, there are sick ones coming in…. but the majority are appearing healthy, clean clothes and THANK GOD for cell phone charging stations in the desert..(pun intended)…. NO ONE is against immigration but as Trump said, DO IT LEGALLY! Where is AOC when she slammed Trumps “kids in cages” but guess Google didn’t tell you those were Obama’s cages! They called him the “deportor in chief” yes, when you deport some UP TO 6 Times, those numbers add up. The Wall was strongly called for by Biden/Clinton/Schumer, etc. etc. then our duly elected 2016/2020 Pres. Trump mentions… well, we know how that got treated. Biden tells the Wall will come down…..oh….his adm. just took land away from some he “PROMISED” he wouldn’t , FOR the wall. And Biden DID invite all to come. Janet, I believe you should open up your home. Bus loads have been noted and plane tickets handed out. And “President” Harris (Biden calls her that)…. has she BEEN to the border yet? I have family/friends in border areas and further up these states and they say it is Awful. Guess they’ll have to go on Google to be believed! GOD BLESS AMERICA and those poor abused children being sent up here with evil people such as JoAnn Utphall’s letter in same paper mentioned. (Always great information) Thank you for your informative editorials also.
