Dear Editor:
The “New” Bremer Bank Organization
Mr. Timothy Vettrus, I and others applaud you for your heartfelt letters of concern.
The days of “Social Banking” as we know it here in Colfax, will soon come to an end.
Bremer Bank will close and lock the doors and will pull stakes; Their big thaw has finally come.
Investments will be transfered to their banks in Eau Claire and Menomonie.
My concern here among many, is an executive power movement, more money in the executives pockets and more leisure time spent on golf courses.
I’m thinking here, I might be off base, but the Bremer Bank Organization will soon be brought into the regulation of socialism, and will adjust and rule to a socialistic standard; Just a thought folks. A sign of the times.
It stated in a recent Messenger, Wednesday, August 21, 2019, that there are representatives from Bremer Bank “Who are passionate about maintaining their customers and their commitment to Colfax.”
I believe this statement to be true. You know what folks, “Jobs” and “Money” talk and BS walks.
Those reps will have to adjust and dance to the “Big Chairs” tunes.
Now a serious word to those busy, busy, busy, busy Bremer Bank customers who do their banking online or by mobile application.
The word is, “Get out and smell the roses.”
Those wonderful Colfax Bremer Bank tellers would love to see your smiling faces and chat a bit!
Gosh, you might even find some time to help some of the long-time faithful senior banking members smell the roses too.
What’s wrong with “Moral” practices?
Dick Hilson
P.S. Get out and sign the petitions that Mr. Timothy Vettrus has so graciously made up and placed in various places in the Village of Colfax.
