This is in response to what is happening to the Tiffany Creek and so-called park just on the north side of the Boyceville High School. What they are doing is a travesty to this creek and park. I was once able to look south from my front yard and see a beautiful tree-lined creek and a park full of shade! And now all I have to look at is nothing but buildings. No thanks to the school griping about how slow flood waters are taking to go back down to normal. But if they had any sense at all they would look to the west and see all the low land and swamp ground and all the small streams that flow into it, all the flood waters spread out through that low and swamp ground and this is why it takes time for flood waters to go back down. But as for this so-called DNR jokers thinking by redoing the creek is going to help the fishing, this is a joke. I have fished trout most of my life and the biggest trout I caught were along shaded tree lined creeks. Trout do not like sunlight. I and many others I have talked to are so mad about this taking place that they say they will never use the park here again, or the creek for that matter.
