I have observed that, generally, unions support the Democratic party therefore I would assume that unions and democrats should be proud of President Trump. It appears that he has adopted some of their techniques.
When union members want more pay or an increase in benefits and the company or school board do not agree, the unions go on strike. The President wants funding for border security – a wall – Congress says no, Trump goes on strike and the government shuts down – people are not paid. Companies shut down by unions don’t produce and people are not paid.
Much of the media decry the President for holding the nation hostage, but teachers hold students hostage and police hold citizens hostage. The media has a field day emaciating Trump.
Congress digs it heels in…but wait, Congress doesn’t have to worry – they still get paid. The people we elect to run the government appear not to really care. Is that not a breach of contract with those who elected them?
Who is really holding us hostage, a Democratic controlled House or Trump?
