Dear Carlton,
Your editorial last week was right on, I agree with you. As a woman I am honored to be called Mrs. Richard Buhr. When I sign both our names together I always put his name first. I do not feel belittled by it one bit. The only time I use just my first name it’s on personal things, but it’s not to put my husband down. Our world has gone overboard in how women act. I feel bad for young men where women feel they need to overpower men.
When I look at the women in the Democrat party, I feel embarrassed for their actions. They so badly want power they have no respect for anyone but themselves.
For me I feel men are our guardian. They hold us up, not put us down. They care for us in ways only a man can. Women will never take the place of a man in my world. I hurt for women who feel they are so mighty that they don’t need a man. The day is coming when they will need one and one will not be there for them.

P.S. The most important thing for me is that my husband is willing to put Jesus Christ as head over him, which makes it even more wonderful for me to have the Lord and him over me.
