Joe Biden’s first press conference March 25, 2021, approximately 12:35 p.m. CDT channel 13 WEAU.
He is calling for the Republican Party to quit resisting his leadership and unite with him. Why were the Democrats’ cooperation refused during the Trump administration?
A call for unity must go both ways.
The United States already showed that you can NOT buy your way out of a Depression. In like manner, throwing money at the pandemic will not work…unless you, at the same time, teach the public to plan, not splurge spending, if it is a luxury, do not finance it. If it is a necessity, pay cash if you can. Pot, smokes, and alcohol are not necessities. An example: When I built my house in 2005 – I paid cash. I wanted to add a deck but did not have the money. I built up a dedicated savings until – in 2010 – I paid cash to have my deck built.
Biden is President. I did not vote for him. But unity goes both ways.
