A busy week that featured three games in a five-day span, saw the Glenwood City girls’ basketball team win two of those contests.
The Lady Toppers started the week out last Tuesday, December 3 with a non-conference home game versus Cornell. Playing a early game in a doubleheader with the boys, Glenwood City started fast and ran to a 63-24 win over the Lady Chiefs.
Two days later, the team hosted Spring Valley for the Dunn-St. Croix Conference opener. The Cardinals took a double-digits led into intermission and went on to knock off the Hilltoppers 56-40.

Glenwood City faced Thorp in a mid-afternoon game that saw it prevail 66-31.
By taking two of three games, the Glenwood City girls improved to 3-2 on the season.
