LTE – Doug Hill – 8-23-2017

To GCHS Alumni,

Our committee got together again on Wednesday evening. Details for “Reunion Weekend” are starting to come together.

We have a pile of Welcome signs to put up. You should start to notice the larger ones next week.

[emember_protected] Parking lot management still needs some work. We plan to use a large part of the upper lot for elderly and handicap parking. The school has a gator we can use to shuffle drivers from distant parking spots. I have a favor to ask of some of our readers. If anyone had a gator or side by side they could make available to help move people from parking to school, contact me. If you also have a driver, that would be great. Call me at 715-565-4376, if you can help us out.

The Lions Club here in Glenwood City have offered to become a sponsor of our activities, and give us help and assistance where ever they can. Their community spirit is seen in a lot the activities in our fair city along with several youth programs they promote.

Many of you will be glad to hear the local author, Beverly Bosinke Finn will be at the school Saturday, Sept. 9th. She has finished her next book and will have copies with her.

Donations received since my last letter are as follows: Diana Sanders, Louis and Kathleen Hastert, Marian Spaulding, Albert Obermueller, Jeff and Carmen Johnston, Karen Marlette, Nilssen’s, Ned Hahn, and Shirley Waggoner.

Two weeks until REUNION time. See you all there, and around Rustic Lore.
