The Boyceville Police Department hopes that the upcoming holiday season will be a time of great joy for everyone. But as they gather to celebrate the holidays, some families and friends will have to cope with the absence of a loved one who was killed in a traffic crash.
That’s why the Boyceville Police Department will mobilize for the statewide “Booze and Belts” traffic safety campaign from Dec. 12 to 20. To save lives and prevent injuries, we will be out in force—day and night—to crack down on drunken drivers and unbelted motorists.
Our ultimate goal is to attain zero preventable traffic deaths in Wisconsin. And there’s no better time of year to work toward that goal than right now.
We hope that everyone will always make the responsible decision to buckle up and drive sober now and throughout the upcoming year. If you do, you will protect yourself along with others on the road, and you may help your loved ones experience a joyous holiday season by protecting them from a needless tragedy.
