The last two years in the Town of Forest have been a contentious time, a community divided by potential industrial wind development. On March 15th, the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin made it official; the Highland Wind project is not in the public interest and denied due to expected noncompliant noise levels, which would have placed an undue burden on Forest residents. During these two years, the current Forest town board has worked tirelessly to protect our quality of life, our property values, and our constitutional rights. The board made tough decisions supported by a township majority.

The Town of Forest requires continued leadership and the protection of a transparent local government focused on public health and safety. Our current town board chairman and supervisors have proved their ability to run township business and defend the community we all call home.

Please do your part to keep Forest safe from industrialization. Vote April 2nd in the Town of Forest to re-elect town chairman Jaime Junker, supervisors Rick Steinberger and Pat Scepurek, town treasurer Nikki Sunday, and elect Marilyn Benson, town clerk.
