Dear Editor,

I would like to share a wonderful experience with your readers. Thursday, October 25th was a cold and rainy day. The Tuesday/Thursday 4K class from Glenwood was scheduled for a field trip to Glenwood Orchard.

Due to thunder and lightning, the trip had to be canceled. Our house, like many others, were filled with tears over the disappointment. We soon found out that the owners from Glenwood Orchard made many kids happy. They packed up and brought the field trip to school since rescheduling wasn’t an option. Thank you Dave and Linda Lindquist for making the kids smile and being a wonderful part of our community.
