The Colfax baseball team banged out 24 hits to take 16-6 and 11-3 wins over the Boyceville Bulldogs in games played under sunny skies May 20 in Boyceville. Colfax opened regional play at home against these same Bulldogs May 24.

MONDOVI — After a final round of conference play consisting  of 18 holes at The Valley Golf Course in Mondovi May 13, the Colfax golf team shot their best score for the year with a 375 for third place. Overall, the team finished last in the conference standings as Glenwood City took the title.

The week didn’t start out very well for the Colfax baseball team as they lost a pair of contests to Mondovi 10-8 and 3-0 on the Buffaloes home field May 13, but they came back to sneak a 6-5 win out in a single contest at home against the St. Croix Central Panthers May 16.

The Colfax softball team tuned up for regional play with back to back double headers, winning both games over Mondovi at home May 13, then split a pair at Glenwood City the next day.
