Driver in Hwy. 170 rollover cited

COLFAX  —  The driver of a red 1993 Nissan pickup truck involved in a rollover accident on state Highway 170 ended up with four traffic citations as a result of the mishap.

Andrew R. Gullicksrud, 37, of Colfax, was eastbound on state Highway 170 around 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 29, when he lost control of the pickup truck.

According to the Dunn County Sheriff’s Department accident report, the Nissan crossed Highway 170 and ended up rolling over in the north ditch, directly across from 634th Street in the Town of Tainter.

While Gullicksrud apparently was not injured in the crash, he received four traffic citations, after leaving the accident scene before Dunn County deputies arrived: operating a vehicle with a revoked driver’s license; operating a vehicle without insurance; having an unauthorized license plate on the vehicle; and failure to notify the police of an accident.
