Thanks to their generosity, we are changing lives and creating the workforce of tomorrow.”
Scholarships assist students with education-related costs such as tuition, fees, books, classroom supplies and more.
For some students, scholarships are a much needed for of financial aid to pay for their education expenses. An example of those needs were expressed in one student’s scholarship application that stated, “Receiving a scholarship to help cover my tuition would make such a huge difference for me and take a lot of added stress away. I am currently working 3 jobs to pay for schooling, I unfortunately don’t qualify for financial aid due to my parents’ income. I bought my own house last year and am fully supporting myself. I also recently found out that I am expecting my first baby in June, which is a very exciting time for me, but also stressful when it comes to finances. Any help with tuition costs to help me get through my last semester would be greatly appreciated, and I know that I am going to be using the skills I have learned here at Northwood Technical College to further my career in Administration.”
