Topper golf trio named 2024 academic all-state honorees
The Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin is pleased to announce that the following student-athletes from Glenwood City have been recognized as 2024 Academic All-State honorees:
• Charlie Lamb, Honors
• Landon Obermueller, High Honors
• Jared Hager, High Honors
Students are submitted by member coaches of the GCAW and must meet the following criteria to be considered for this great award:
• The student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher
• The student-athlete must have participated in at least 75% of their team’s varsity competitions during the 2024 season
• The student-athlete must be in good standing regarding athletic and school codes of conduct at their participating schools
• The student-athlete must be either a sophomore, junior, or senior
The GCAW is proud to announce that 421 students from 137 different high schools have been honored this year. The average GPA of these students is an exceptional 3.723.
The GCAW was formed by high school golf coaches in 1986 to help build and enhance Wisconsin’s reputation for developing quality junior players by promoting golf in our schools and communities.
