Rollover on I94 sends one to hospital

On December 21, 2016, at approximately 5:45 a.m., a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper responded to a one-vehicle roll-over crash on I94 eastbound at mile marker 23 in St. Croix County near Baldwin.

The vehicle, which was driven by Matthew T. Stennett, age 33 of Stevens Point, was traveling westbound on I94. The vehicle traveled through the median where it rolled over and came to a stop on its roof in the eastbound lane of I94. Stennett was partially ejected and was transported to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN with life threatening injuries. 

Stennett was the lone occupant of the vehicle.

One lane of I94 eastbound was closed for a short period of time while Fire and EMS transported the driver from the scene. Assisting agencies included Baldwin EMS and Baldwin Fire. The crash remains under investigation by the WI State Patrol.
