MANKATO, MN – Minnesota State University, Mankato awarded 2,371 degrees at the end of the spring 2016 semester, with approximately 1,500 students participating in three graduation ceremonies on Saturday, May 7 in Taylor Center’s Bresnan Arena.
• Logan Michels of Colfax earned an MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology
• Haley Watkins of Elk Mound earned a BS in Management and a BS in Marketings.
Students in the colleges of Arts & Humanities and Science, Engineering & Technology took part in the 9 a.m. ceremony; those in the colleges of Allied Health & Nursing and Education participated in the noon event; and students in the colleges of Business and Social & Behavioral Sciences graduated in the 3 p.m. ceremony.
Undergraduate students receiving recognition included 127 students graduating summa cum laude (3.8 grade point average and higher), 334 students graduating magna cum laude (grade point averages of 3.5 to 3.79) and 290 students graduating cum laude (grade point averages of 3.3 to 3.49).
