Hayes runs for UW-RF cross country team

RIVER FALLS – Elk Mound High School graduate Emma Hayes, a junior for the UW-River Falls women’s cross country team competed in several meets for the Falcons this past fall.

She led the Falcons at the UW-Eau Claire Invite which was held on the Whitetail Golf Course with a 77th place finish in the 6K race with a time of 25:40. Running at the Griak Invite at the University of Minnesota, Hayes was the sixth runner in for the team for 75th place in 27:09 and was also the sixth runner at the Tori Neubauer Invite held at UW La Crosse, placing 110th in 24:58.She did not compete in the WIAC meet or the regional meet.
