BALDWIN – The Wounded Warriors Family Support’s red, white and blue 2014 Ford Mustang GT500 is traveling to 65 cities in 48 states, with River Valley Ford in Baldwin being one of them.
As a part of the mission to say “thank you” and show appreciation to our country’s military families for their sacrifices, local families are invited to show their support by visiting River Valley Ford on Thursday, August 7 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The High Five Tour’s mission is also to raise funds to build “smart houses” for wounded warriors and their families.
One hundred precent of all funds donated to the tour will go directly to the construction of the homes.
The specially designed homes are custom-built to provide the severely wounded veterans quality of life and independence that otherwise would not be possible.
Wounded Warriors Family Support is proud to partner with Ford Motor Company throughout the tour.
The Mustang will stop at select Ford dealerships through the country as well as community events, veterans’ organizations, military bases and race tracks. The Baldwin visit is just one of two in the entire state of Wisconsin.
“We are honored to host this event again this year,” said Andy Lamb and Corey Hawkins, owners of River Valley Ford. “The sacrifices made by military members and their families are immeasurable and events like this give them the recognition they deserve.”
