Simonson completes first year at Superior

2013 Colfax High School graduate Samantha Simonson recently finished her first year of fastpitch softball for the UW-Superior Yellowjackets.

Sam is listed as an infielder for the team but was used more as a designated hitter this year, playing in 10 games and batting nine times. She did not record any hits but walked once and scored one run for the team. The Yellowjackets ended their 2014 campaign with an overall record of 20-17 but were only 3-13 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
