Students from area graduate from UW-Stout

MENOMONIE — Undergraduate and graduate students participated in commencement ceremonies at University of Wisconsin-Stout in May.

Whitney Poppe of Colfax, Wis., received a B.S. in applied science.

Samantha Secraw of Colfax, Wis., received a B.S. in human development and family studies.

Chris Galetka of Colfax, Wis., received a B.S. in applied social science.

Samantha Wolff of Colfax, Wis., received a B.S. in early childhood education.

Rebecca Jenson of Colfax, Wis., received a B.S. in human development and family studies.

Bretta Weinhold of Colfax, Wis., received an M.S. in school counseling.

Grace Neuburg of Colfax, Wis., received a B.S. in science education (second major).

Callinda Harmston of Colfax, Wis., received a B.S. in early childhood education.

Jonathan Wolff of Colfax, Wis., received a B.S. in early childhood education.

Nicole Johnson of Glenwood City, Wis., received a B.S. in early childhood education.

Derek Dikeman of Glenwood City, Wis., received a B.S. in psychology.

Carl Smith of Wilson, Wis., received an M.S. in manufacturing engineering.

Austin Galloway of Boyceville, Wis., received a B.S. in engineering technology.

Samantha Christian of Boyceville, Wis., received a B.S. in food science and technology.

Jolie Scales of Boyceville, Wis., received a B.S. in human development and family studies.

Matthew Marusak of Boyceville, Wis., received a B.S. in early childhood education.

Ryan Veith of Knapp, Wis., received a B.S. in environmental science.

Many UW-Stout graduates also will go on to graduate school. Among them is Logan Michels of Colfax, who earned a bachelor’s in psychology, and is headed to Mankato (Minn.) State University.

UW-Stout, Wisconsin’s Polytechnic University, has 45 undergraduate majors and 23 graduate programs, including one doctoral degree.
