EAU CLAIRE – Over 240 Chippewa Valley Technical College students were awarded more than $130,000 in scholarships recently when the CVTC Foundation hosted its annual Scholarship Awards Receptions.
At the events, scholarship recipients were paired at tables with representatives from the families or organizations that generously donated the scholarship funds. Often donors create scholarship funds to memorialize a loved one, or support a cause, but it all comes down to making a difference in the lives of the recipients.

From Colfax: Bradford Walley, Landscape, Plant, and Turf Management, Chippewa Valley Home Builders Association Landscaping; Julie Wilson, Nursing-Associate Degree, Chippewa Valley Technical College Alumni Association Endowment and Eau Claire Evening Lions Club – Gordie Berg Memorial Scholarship; Meghan Lieffort, Human Resources, Cheryl A. Janke Memorial Endowment; Nicole Bird, Early Childhood Education, Disability Endowment; Nathan Kass, Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration Technician, ITW Engineered Fasteners.
From Boyceville: Justin Andrews, Criminal Justice-Law Enforcement, Clifford Brown Memorial Endowment and Criminal Justice Legacy Scholarship; Tyler Lamm, Auto Collision Repair and Refinish Technician, Chippewa Valley Auto Body Association and Chippewa Valley Performance Fords Scholarship.
From Glenwood City: Bethanne Klinger, Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse, Coy Hobbs Memorial Endowment; Rachel Myers, Radiography, Cammie B. Johnson Memorial.
