Legend’s Pub N Eatery opens off Highway 29

MENOMONIE- Boyceville native, Dawn (Seeger) Breland recently became a business owner after Fuzzy’s Bar in Menomonie came up for grabs.

Dawn was managing the Eagle’s Nest in Boyceville when she decided it was time to make a change after hearing that Jeremy and Tara Went were calling it quits at Fuzzy’s.

Upon taking over, Dawn and her husband Murphy chose to call their new establishment, Legend’s Pub N Eatery.

The bar has a few new decals, but the dining has taken on a whole new look. Murphy, who has history in New Orleans, decided to take that and put it into the menu for the ultimate eating experience.

A wide variety of Cajun food is now available including Gumbo, Jambalaya, and various dishes involving shrimp.

The menu also features all hand cut meats including fresh cut and specially breaded chicken, rib eye, sirloins and racks of ribs.

Aside from food, the dining area still has its original seating arrangement and wet bar, but it now has a couple new pool tables, dart board and buck hunter game.

In sticking with the game theme, Dawn said that the ball field will remain open for the various softball leagues and kickball games.

Dawn opened the doors to her new adventure on January 3. The tavern will be open seven days a week with breakfast served all day long starting at 7:00 a.m.

There are daily food and drink specials with two happy hours during the week as well. The weekend features a Friday Fish Fry, steaks and ribs on Saturday and then a Sunday brunch.

Dawn plans to have weekend entertainment as well with DJs and then bands possibly scheduled as well. There will be DJ/Karaoke on Thursdays and Saturdays.

With that being said, the Brelands’ emphasized that if too much fun is had, there is a safe ride taxi available to and from Legend’s since the short bus is no longer at the bar.

The daily specials, scheduled events, entertainment and general questions can all be found/answered on the “Legends Pub N Eatery” Facebook page.
