Locals receive degrees from UW-River Falls

RIVER FALLS — The following local residents were among 420 students who received degrees during fall commencement at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in December 2013. Bachelor’s degrees were awarded to 367 undergraduates while 53 students received master’s degrees. Area students are listed by hometown below:

Jurita Foltyn of Colfax, WI, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood and received Summa Cum Laude honors.

Staci Sikora of Colfax, WI, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and received Senior Merit honors.

Jared Ley of Glenwood City, WI, received a Bachelor of Science degree in English and received Summa Cum Laude honors.

Lisa Smith of Wilson, WI, received a Bachelor of Science degree in English.
