One vehicle rollover on Highway 170

DOWNING – A one-vehicle accident was reported on the afternoon of Friday, October 4 just east of Downing, WI on Highway 170 after the Oldsmobile Cutlas driven by Dagoberto Molina rolled over into the ditch.

The Dunn County Sheriff’s report stated that speed was a factor as Molina appeared to be driving too fast for the conditions and lost control. Neither alcohol nor drugs were a factor.

According to the report by Officer Bradley Leach, Unit 1 was traveling eastbound on STH 170. The operator lost control while going around the curve. The vehicle entered the north ditch and rolled over. The injuries were minor.

Dagoberto and his passenger Santiago Lopez were both reported to have been wearing their seat belts at the time of the accident.
