Wilson Fall Music Festival this Saturday

WILSON — This Saturday, September 7 marks the 3rd Annual Fall Music Festival hosted by Gypsy Road Saloon on Main Street in Wilson.

The Festival brings in a handful of performers from a variety of places with this year’s featuring three bands from Minnesota and one from Illinois.

Back again to perform and headline the night is Lamont Cranston, the American Blues band out of Hamel, MN. Along for the show is special guest Bruce Mccabe.

The Lamont Cranston band has been together, playing the blues since 1969 with songs on itunes and over ten CD’s created.

Also on the lineup is Lil’ Ed and the Blues Imperials out of Chicago. The group of four has been playing for over 20 years with appearances on late-night talk shows and international concert stages.

Inside Straight is a four to six piece band out of Minneapolis that plays Blues-Rock songs and is headed by lead singer, Kurt Koehler who has been playing for over 40 years now.

Last but not least is Phil Kitze and the Resonators, another Blues-Rock band out of the Twin Cities. The band has been playing a variety of rock and roll, Chicago blues, southern rock, Texas blues and original songs for over 20 years.

The festival will begin at 4:30 p.m. with Phil Kitze and the Resonators playing until 6:30 p.m. Next it will be Inside Straight from 7-9:00 p.m. Following them will be Lil’ Ed and his group from 9:30-11:00 p.m. And last on stage will be the Lamont Cranston band from 11:30 p.m.-1:30 a.m.
