Wheeler approves license applications

WHEELER — It’s that time of year again.
The Wheeler Village Board approved one license and accepted a number of license applications at the May 14 meeting.
The board approved a fireworks permit license for B&B Fireworks, William Utphall.
The village board accepted the following license applications:
• Class A Beer, Class A liquor, operators’ licenses and cigarette licenses for Dwain Trowbridge, Bridge Stop II LLC.
• Class B Beer and liquor licenses, cigarette licenses, operators’ licenses and annual dance permit for Last Call, Curtis Hake.
• Class B Beer and liquor licenses, operators’ licenses, cigarette licenses, and annual dance permit for the Fifty Yard Line Bar, Randy J. Anderson.
• Class B Beer and liquor licenses, operators’ licenses, and annual dance permit for the Wheeler Inn, Wendy S. Turner.
In other business, the Wheeler Village Board received a reminder about the public hearing that will be conducted by the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin on the proposed water rate increase May 23 at 10 a.m. at the Wheeler Village Hall. The hearing will be conducted by telephone from Madison.
