Wheeler Village Board sets 4-minute record

By LeAnn R. Ralph

WHEELER —  It must have been a record.

The Wheeler Village Board’s regular monthly meeting April 9 lasted a mere four minutes.

Four minutes was enough time, however, to approve the minutes from the March meeting, confirm that resolutions had been signed to put $50,000 in a money market account and $50,000 in a certificate of deposit, to determine that there was no new business, to find out that the treasurer’s report for March would not be available until the next regular meeting in May, and to authorize paying the bills.

All village board members were present: James Carter (village president); Marlene Larson (trustee); Linda Crosby (trustee).

The Wheeler Village Board meets the second Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m.
