Glenwood City Library News – November 2021

What is coming to the Glenwood City Library?

The Library has wonderful programs planed for November for adults, children and the whole family. Please come and check us out.

November 1, 8, & 15: 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. – Kids Craft Night

November 3, 10, & 17: 9:30-10:30 a.m. – Peter Rabbit Storytime; Storytime is being held at the GC Elementary School with the Tiny Toppers. If you would like to have Peter Rabbit Storytime at the library please give us call.

November 13: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. – DYI Sock Gnome Workshop. Due to limited space the library is having sessions starting at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. & noon, each with 20 slots to fill! Call/Email/Facebook Message to reserve your spot today! This is a free project and open to all ages.

November 15: 4 p.m. – Afternoon Book Club – “The Catcher in the Rye” by J.D. Salinger. The book discussion will take place at Tom Whitten’s Home; 2946 110th Ave., Glenwood City WI.

November 18: 6:30 – Effective Communication Strategies – Explore ways that Alzheimer’s and other dementias affect an individual’s ability to communicate across different stages, and get tips to better communicate with people living with the disease. At this time this program is schedule to take place at the library.

November 22: 2 p.m. – 7 p.m. – Gingerbread Houses – This craft you will be able to decorate your own Gingerbread House. This is open to all ages and is free. Due to limited space we are asking that you register beforehand but not required.

November 27: 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. – Wreath Decorating Workshop – Due to limited space, the library is having sessions starting at 2 p.m. & 3 p.m., each with 10 slots to fill! Call/Email/Facebook Message to reserve your spot today! Free and All ages welcome!

November 29: 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. – Kids Craft Night – Decorating Ornaments. This project is free and open to all ages.

November 29: 7:00 p.m. – Friends of the Library Book Club – Book Selection and Location To Be Determined.
