Log pile, tractor and snowmobile destroyed by fire

A fire that spread from a burning pile that was thought to have been extinguished spread into a log pile and also destroyed a tractor and snowmobile on property located at 1265 280th Street in Glenwood Township in the early hours of Monday morning.

The Glenwood City Fire Department was paged at 3:13 a.m. Monday morning, March 14th, for the fire and a tank a truck from the Woodville Station of United Fire also responded to the scene. 

There were no injuries reported. The fire department was on the scene for about two hours.
