Glenwood City Library News – 9-1-2021
The Library has wonderful programs planed for September for adults, children and the whole family. Please come and check us out.
September 1-30 – Facebook Trivia- We will have a trivia question everyday on our Facebook page for you to answer. Everybody with the correct answer for each question will receive your name in the drawing for the prize of the month.
September 8-11th – Friends of the Library Book Sale – The book sale will take place upstairs in the library.
September 9th 6:30 – St. Croix County Sheriff K-9 Demo: Ever wonder how law enforcement professionals use dogs to help sniff out crime? We will get a demonstration! We will be outside around the back of the library for the demonstration and incase of rain we will be having the demonstration inside.
September 10th 5:00pm – Rustic Lore’s Family Fun Night on Main St. – Come on down to our booth and make a head band or mask. We would love to see you.
September 13, 20, 27 4pm-7pm Kids Craft Night- Come and join us for Craft night, we will have a couple different crafts each week.
September 15, 22,29 10:30 – Peter Rabbit Story Time
September 16th 6:30pm – The 10 Warning Signs of Dementia – This education program will help you recognize common signs of the disease in yourself and others and the next steps to take, including how to talk to your doctor. This program is presented by the Alzheimer’s Association, and is part 1 of 4 in the series.
September 27th 7:00pm – Friends of the Library Book Club – The Book Club will meet at the Glenwood Apple Orchard on Cty Rd DD. The book we will be discussing is Ordinary Grace by William Kent Krueger. Everybody is welcome to join us and if you need us to reserve you a copy of the book please give us a call and we would love to do that for you.
