On Monday I worked on a Peeps diorama. It’s a scene you make with the Peeps Easter candy (see photo).
The scene is called “Saturday Nite Card Party.” Meanwhile the baby peeps are all taking a bath and getting ready for bed. There’s a new peeps flavor this year. It’s called “root beer float.” It is very tasty indeed! Wednesday most of us got the word we were free to roam the country, at least the premises, everybody gathered in the lobby and got caught up with the latest you know what. Also on Wednesday I got to go to Menomonie to see the eye doctor with our faithful driver, Bob. It was nice to go somewhere–anywhere!
Things were pretty busy that day so we didn’t have our trivia hour. Since it’s St. Patrick’s Day month I came up with questions and answers with the word “green” in it. What singer’s hits included “Let’s Stay Together” and “How Can you Mend a Broken Heart?” Al Green. What football team won the first two Super Bowls? The Green Bay Packers. What famous children’s character sang the words “It’s not easy being green?” Kermit the Frog. What is another name for a newcomer or an inexperienced person? A green horn. Name an emotion associated with the color green. Jealousy or envy. What Friends character had the last name Green? Rachel. Name the famous Canadian “Green” once married to Drew Barrymore. Tom Green. Well, how did you do on the trivia? I know my readership is pretty sharp so I know you did good. We finished the week playing Bingo and look forward to an awesome weekend. Take care and stay well.
