Vintage Voyagers Street Rod Club president Dave Busta presented this year’s scholarship recipient, Trent Keppen, a graduate of Turtle Lake High School and grandson of Fred and Illa Nitchey of Glenwood City, a check toward his upcoming fall tuition at Chippewa Valley Technical College.
This scholarship is made available to any area high school senior that is going to further their education in the technical field. Trent will be studying collision repair this fall at CVTC. Vintage Voyagers has been giving this scholarship for over 28 years to deserving high school graduating seniors.
The club would like to thank the Chetek and surrounding area residents for supporting the July 4th Liberty Days car show for these past many years. As a result of this support, the club can provide scholarships to students who want to go on to training in the mechanical/technical field. Vintage Voyagers will miss you this year, but look forward to seeing you at the July 3rd 2021 Liberty Days car show in Chetek.
