Residents enjoyed the music of John Lynch on Saturday afternoon. Everyone loves his music.

Catholic communion was celebrated on Sunday morning, and Christ the King held services in the afternoon. The Menonite Singers were also here on Sunday after supper, and sang at both Glenhaven and Grand Oaks.

Monday afternoon we had a lefse making and eating day. Residents love their lefse!!!

Pastor Jonathan, with the assistance of Marion, Peg and Velma, was here for services on Tuesday morning. He had a very nice group from the whole facility. He returned on Wednesday morning for Bible Study, as well as several people from the community.

Bingo on Wednesday was hosted by the activity department, which now has a new assistant, Cara. We welcome her to Glenhaven. We were also assisted by Barb Nelson and Rita Fern.

The Little Acorns came up for their Thursday morning visit, and were excited to see balloons. They played balloon volley with the residents, hitting the balloons over a net with their hand-shaped fly swatters. Lots of giggles! It was a hit with both the kids and the residents. Definitely a keeper game!

Friday was popcorn day, which is enjoyed by many of our residents and tenants. In the afternoon, a game of Mexican Train was played in Household C, as the dining room tables are a little bigger than our card tables, which don’t hold a lot of dominoes.
