THE GLENWOOD CITY Public Library has a new sign and landscaping. —photo by Shawn DeWitt
GLENWOOD CITY — The library now has some new signage in front of the building all thanks to Tayler Crawford and Cody Varney. They have worked throughout the summer on the two new signs. To go along with the beautiful new signs, the library is looking at getting bids for next spring/summer to paint the exterior building. If you know of anyone that would like to send in a bid to the library or know of someone that be willing to help paint the exterior building, please contact the library.
The front landscape was done with help from the Holy Cross Lutheran “Son Fun” youth.
The library will be repainting the basement to have a new look for future events. Thanks to Ben Bartz and the Thrivent Financial for getting a Thrivent team and seed money to help with the project. The library would also like to thank the Glenwood City Chapter of the National Honor Society for their help with the painting. This project should be finished before the Holiday Wine Event.
A reminder that we are a Fine Free library! We also have a coffee station for patrons all thanks to the Friends of the Library! Stop in and enjoy a cup of coffee on us!
