GLENWOOD CITY — The Glenwood City Board of Education met Monday evening, August 26, in a special meeting, and hired two new teachers for the middle/high school.
After several months of searching for a new Marketing/Business teacher the district has gone the route of a long-term substitute.
Jacob Maes will begin teaching in the high school on Friday, August 29, with the start of the new school year.
After an unexpected resignation by Gina Holter, middle school English/Language Arts teacher, mentioned at the board meeting on August 19, the Glenwood City school district has been able to fill her position. Tara Huebel will be replacing Holter in the middle school.
