Glenhaven News
March 30 – April 5

Monday was April Fool’s Day, so we tried something new. We played charades with several of the residents. It was a good time with lots of laughing.

Sunnyside Shamrocks 4-H club came during the supper hour to entertain the residents with their skit they are preparing for the county contest. Thanks, kids!

Pastor Brad, playing his ukulele, was assisted by Bob Bird at Tuesday morning church services. They did a great job of singing. The residents really enjoyed it!

Resident Council followed church services, and residents had a chance to voice any concerns they may have. Sherry also joined us for part of the meeting.

Beauty shop was held on Wednesday morning, and the activity department, assisted by Linda Sittlow, Bobbie Berends and Mike Mounce, hosted Bingo in the afternoon.

Laurie Duval began helping in the activity department on Thursday, and will be assisting every Thursday. She helped the residents create some very cute Easter bunnies and wreaths to hang on their doors. She will be a great addition to the activity department.

On Friday morning everyone got their popcorn fix for the day, and Deacon Wes was here for Catholic Communion. In the afternoon, Pastor Jan was back for Bible study, along with her helper. Next week she plans on playing Bible Bingo, which sounds both fun and educational.
