Glenhaven-Havenwood Happenings – 10-31-2018

October 20-26

Our week started out with music on Saturday with Rich Schroeder, and Catholic Communion on Sunday with Dennis.

Monday the baking club did their last big baking effort for the bake sale. They made seven layer bars and scotcheroos. We had to sample the scotcheroos. They were tasty!

The Boyceville Methodist church with Pastor Shannon was here for church on Tuesday morning, which was followed by Live to be Healthy exercises with Steve.

The Little Acorns held a family night on Tuesday evening for students and parents. It must have been a good time, as the kids seemed a little tired the next day!

The Little Acorns came for a visit on Wednesday morning, and colored some Halloween pictures to hang on resident doors. Residents also sat and colored pictures. I think they enjoyed it more than the kids!

In the afternoon, Bingo was hosted by the activity department, who was assisted this week by Linda Sittlow. We enjoyed coffee, juice, and delicious cookies from the kitchen afterwards. Residents had a chance to spend their tokens on the Bingo cart.

Steve returned on Thursday for exercises, and Izzy Draxler was here to entertain the residents with her piano skills in the afternoon.

Friday was our popcorn day, which is always looked forward to by the residents and tenants.

Thank You to all our volunteers this past week. Have a Happy Halloween!
