Glenwood History Center to be open Rustic Lore weekend

GLENWOOD CITY – The Glenwood Area Historical Society on Main Street, Glenwood City will be open Rustic Lore weekend. Hours will be 1 to 5 Friday; 8 to 4 Saturday and 12 to 4 on Sunday. We will be serving fresh Amish donuts, coffee and water Saturday morning of the car show.

Our main attraction at the museum this year is a wooden carved replica of “Old Betsy”. This was made by Al Anderson of Glenwood City and is the train engine that moved logs from Greytown (north of Glenwood) to where the saw mills were. This was in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s.

Come see—it is very neat!
