We had a fun group of gals this past Friday night who participated in the “Widows” bowling tournament. Here are the top bowlers: Tracy Lawson, 712 series, first place; Cheryl Standaert, 682 series, second place; and Jane Van Beek, 680 series, third place. Thanks ladies, I know you all had a good time!!
We’ll take this week off for deer hunting and the Thanksgiving Holiday. We’ll get back in full swing next week.
We have three bucks so far that were brought in for our buck board. Harry Standaert, Brent Standaert and Matt Main all brought in nice 8-pointers that had spreads of 17 inches, 15.25 inches and 15 inches, respectively. I managed to pop a nice big doe on opening morning. It was a bitterly cold weekend for hunting though, wasn’t it?? Brrrrr!!

Birdie with a yellow bill, hopped upon my window sill, cocked a shining eye and says: “What vegetable do you want with our Thanksgiving dinner pop…corn??!!” Bee Boop!
Some Silly Thanksgiving Riddles:
Q: What kind of music did the pilgrims like?
A: Plymouth Rock
Q: Why can’t you take a turkey to church?
A: They use FOWL language.
Q: What does Dracula call Thanksgiving?
A lady was looking for a turkey but couldn’t find one big enough. She asked Little Johnny, the stock boy, “Do these get any bigger??”
Little Johnny replied, “No, they’re dead!!”
