Bonte named to All-Iowa Conference

DECORAH, IA — Garrett Bonte, a junior at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, just recently received a place on the inaugural All-Iowa Conference Wrestling Team.

The 30-member squad is comprised of the top three Iowa Conference place-winners in each weight category at the NCAA III Central Region Championship. All together, Luther placed seven wrestlers on the all-league squad.

Bonte finished his 2012-13 season with a 22-13 record after competing at the National Championships in March. He fell one match shy of earning All-American honors.

Bonte will enter his last year as a Norse this coming fall.
