Heavy Rains sent local streams to near flood stage Monday afternoon. In the Glenwood City area almost three inches of rain fell and the effect of that much rain sends Tiffany Creek to the top of its banks.

Last week the activities included Catholic communion, church with Grace Baptist, exercises, manicures, baking club, church with United Methodist, the monthly birthday party and sing-a-long with Jane and Friends, bingo and music by Rich Schroeder.

Local Glenwood City student Wesley Franklin has just returned from a study abroad trip that began in New Orleans and then continued onto France. There were around 25 people in the group attending the trip that spanned 10 days.

MANKATO, MN – The AgStar Fund for Rural America, the corporate giving program of AgStar Financial Services, recently awarded $65,320 in grants for its County Fair Facility Upgrade grant program. Twenty-two county fair programs were awarded up to $3,000 grants to use toward fairground agricultural building improvements.
