GLENWOOD CITY — Two young ladies will be competing for the 2019-20 title of Miss Glenwood City.
The candidates have had a busy summer preparing for this year’s Rustic Lore Celebration and queen’s coronation on Saturday, September 7 at 7:00 p.m. in the Glenwood City High School gymnasium.
This year’s candidates are Tabitha Nadeau and Hallie Dopkins.

Tabitha Nadeau
My name is Tabitha Nadeau. I am a junior at Glenwood City High School. I live on a dairy farm. I have an older sister, Isabella, and an older brother, Jacob. My mom and dad are Mark and Barbara Nadeau. I dance at St. Croix Valley Dance Academy in Baldwin, WI, and I run cross country for Glenwood City High School. For fun, I enjoy reading. I participate in the Bellringers 4-H Club, and I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I am excited to be running for Miss Glenwood City. Sponsored by Ross’ Glenwood City Locker.
Hallie Dopkins
Hi, I’m Hallie Dopkins. I am a junior at Glenwood City High School, and the oldest of 3 brothers – Cole, Josh, and Connor. I’ve lived in Glenwood City all of my life. My hobbies are reading, drawing, outdoor activities, listening to music, and learning foreign languages. I participate in volleyball, Art Club, and History Club for school activities. I wanted to become a candidate to get closer to my roots. My family’s direct female line is related to Marie Antoinette, the last Queen of France, Duchess of Austria. Sponsored by Bobolink Nursery.
