Glenhaven News March 24-30
Rich Schroeder was here to entertain on Saturday afternoon.
Sunday was Catholic Communion and also Grace Baptist church.
The baking club was busy on Monday making Ice Cream Logs for dessert for the monthly birthday party, which was enjoyed by all on Tuesday when Jane and Friends were here to entertain. They sang some Easter songs, which was very fitting.
The painters of the wooden birds finished their project on Wednesday when they put the finishing touches on the blue jays. They turned out great. In the afternoon St. John’s Catholic church hosted Bingo, and were assisted by the Glenwood City court. Thanks to all who helped.
Live to be Healthy exercises were held on Thursday morning, and in the afternoon, the Girl Scouts from Pack 57281 of Clear Lake came and helped the residents play shuffleboard, as well as trying it out themselves. They also brought Girl Scout cookies with them for treats, and took them around to the entire building. Thanks so much, girls!
On Good Friday here at Glenhaven, in the morning we had a wonderful service with the Boyceville Methodist church. Everyone who came enjoyed it, we always look forward to them coming.
