We had a couple more championship roll-offs this past week.
On our Hometown League, it was a two-way shoot-out with our Leaker’s team going head to head against Leaker’s II. It was a two-night, total pins battle. Leaker’s II came out on top with the yearly championship. Leaker’s II team is made up of Gary Standaert, Tony Obermueller, Logan Wink, and Roy Stevens.
On the Town and Country Championship, the “Boondock’s Pinpoppers” come out on top with the annual honors. The “Pinpoppers” consist of Jessica Hager, Carey Kuehl and Brian Casey. Congratulations to both teams.
The Thursday Nite Ladies Championship roll-offs resulted in “Amazing Portraits by Angie” locking up the championship. “Angie’s” is made up of Karla Obermueller, Doralla Curvello, Jill Peterson and Tracy Lawson. Congratulations to all of the new champions!!!
Our 9-Pin Tournament wound up this past weekend. We have five bowlers who have qualified for the first place honors of $1000. We will feature the roll-off on Saturday, May 10 at 7:00. These are the keglers who will battle it out for the top spot: Bob Schug, Luke Berends, Dave Hurtgen, Tim Pederson and Jon Standaert. Come on down on May 10th and root for your favorite bowler!!

Five Rules to Remember in Life
1. Forgive your enemy but remember the ****’s name.
2. Money can’t buy you happiness but it’s more comfortable to cry in a Mercedes than on a bike.
3. Help someone when they are in trouble and they will remember you when they’re in trouble again.
4. Many people are alive only because it’s illegal to shoot them. (my favorite)
5. Alcohol does not solve any problems, but then again, neither does milk.
