Boyceville MS finishes as team runner-up at regionals

THE BOYCEVILLE Middle School played host to the Science Olympiad Middle School Regional Tournament on Saturday, March 8, 2025. The Bulldogs’ varsity team placed second behind Menomonie, but beat back challenges from Sparta, Medford, Hudson, Eau Claire South and other teams. BOYCEVILLE – The Boyceville Middle School Science Olympiad team competed at the regional tournament at home this past weekend, finishing as the regional runner-up team out of twelve schools. Boyceville Middle School medal winners were as follows:
Gold medals were earned by the following:
Air Trajectory – Eighth grader Easton Lange and seventh grader Logan Monfort
Helicopters – Eighth graders Aubrie Humpal and Jillian Boesl
Metric Mastery – Ninth graders Walter Schaff and Eli Weber
Mission Possible – Lange and Logan Monfort
Robo Cross – Logan Monfort and seventh grader Aiden Feeney
Towers – Lange and eighth grader Clayton Score
Wind Power – Schaff and Weber

“I am really proud of all of our middle school students.” said Boyceville head coach Andy Hamm. “We have a really challenging regional tournament, and our kids have worked really hard this year to do their best. l look forward to the students continuing to work hard to prepare for the state tournament in April.”
The state tournament is Friday-Saturday, April 4-5, 2025 at UW-Stout in Menomonie. Boyceville Science Olympiad is coached by Andy Hamm, Russ Riehbrandt, and Tony Pelikan.
