PETER WHEELDON
Two Boyceville seniors will share the honor of valedictorian; Peter Wheeldon and Braden Roemhild. Cora Leslie has been named the salutatorian.
Wheeldon
Peter Wheeldon is the son of Joseph and Lexie Wheeldon.
Peter’s favorite classes in high school were Physics, Choir and English.
For Peter the extra curriculars were most memorable part of high school. “Each one took a lot of work and seeing it payoff was cool.”
While in high school Peter was involved in Football, Basketball, Track, Drama, Science Olympiad and Quiz Bowl. He participated in all of these activities all four years. Football was his favorite because of the teamwork.
This summer Peter plans to work as much as possible before he heads off to UW-Madison to study Physical Therapy.
Roemhild
Braden Roemhild is the son of Brian and Corrie Roemhild.
Braden lists Spanish, Civics and Biology as his favorite high school classes. “The teachers made class interesting and I really enjoyed learning about these subjects.”
Winning the Baseball State Championship was the most memorable event that happened while Braden was in high school. He states that it was the most memorable because “it was something that we had never done before.”

BRADEN ROEMHILD
Braden was active in Football, Basketball, Baseball and Student Council all four years in high school. Football was his favorite because he loved the sport and loved being with his friends.
This summer after graduation Braden plans on working at the school and running the weight room program.
In the fall Braden plans on attending UW-River Falls and majoring in Education while minoring in social studies.
Leslie
Cora Leslie is the daughter of Blaine and Erin Leslie, and Roni Voeltz.
Cora’s top three classes in high school were: Anatomy & Physiology: “I plan to go into the medical field so this class was one of my favorites. I got to learn about the human body and got to experience a cadaver lab, which was my favorite part of the class.”
Sociology: “I think it was interesting to learn about how other people think and live.”
Accounting: “I enjoyed accounting because I have always enjoyed math. I thought it was satisfying to put all the numbers in the right category and have them equal the right numbers.”
Cora remarks; “The most memorable events that happened in high school were going to Mexico and a cadaver lab. These events were memorable because I will never get the opportunity to learn about the Mexican culture again, the cadaver was memorable because it showed me what I am truly interested in which is the medical field.”

CORA LESLIE
During high school Cora was involved in Volleyball, Basketball and Softball all four years. She was also involved in the Science Olympiad, Quizbowl, Student Council and the National Honor Society her junior and senior years.
Her favorite activities were sports. “Because of sports, I have made many friends and unbreakable bonds with others. It has also taught me many life lessons and how hard work will pay off.
Not playing sports after high school will be the hardest thing for me.”
Cora’s summer plans include working to save up money for college. “I will be working at a boutique and hopefully assisted living place. Other than that I would like to spend much time with friends and family before I go off to college.”
Cora plans to major in Biology at UW-Madison.
