HIAWATHA NATIONAL BANK recently donated money to the Glenwood City Police Department for the purchase of the Stat-X Aerosol Fire Suppression system. Four aerosol canisters and a pair of protective cases were purchased after Hiawatha National Bank awarded the department the nearly $1,000 to buy the equipment. Making the presentation last Thursday morning, July 9 was Hiawatha National Bank President/CEO James W. Meisser (left) to Glenwood City Police Chief Robert Darwin. The Stat-X is a new and innovative tool designed to aid in the suppression of fires in confined spaces and for use as a protection device for professional first responders or certified personnel in emergency egress or entrance situations delivering a highly effective aerosol fire suppression agent. —photo by Shawn DeWitt
